Info about me
I like to observe life and learn from it. I'm fascinated by evolutionary
psychology and how people act in social settings. Maybe it's because I was such a shy kid. Now, I like having a good time
and meeting interesting people.
The
purpose of this Web site is to teach what I know about words--how to use them the right way in terms of grammar and style.
I'm still learning new things myself, but I'll impart what I know and blog about the things I discover. I'll provide
some resources to help all writer types who want to visit.
What I do now:
During the day (OK, night) I am a page designer and copy editor for the Star-Banner in Ocala, Fla. When I'm not doing that, I'm working on getting my own writing published.
I have used the Quark, PageSpeed, and InDesign programs
to design newspapers. The style I use for newspaper work is Associated Press style, but I'll depart from that a little
on this site. I'm not perfect, so if you see a mistake on the blog somewhere, and if you're so moved, send me an e-mail
to let me know. And check back regularly, because I add new stuff daily (or close to it).

I could probably use a hair stylist.
